Meet Mikel McCullough... Commercial Director At Keller Williams Realty Southwest

Mr. McCullough has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience and has been responsible for the leasing and marketing of some of the country’s most notable, institutional quality, mixed use office projects including the landmark 1M Square Foot, 42 Story California Plaza Phase I office tower in downtown Los Angeles and the Koll Center Newport/Koll Center Irvine master planned, mixed use developments in Newport Beach, CA. He has had direct, major asset, marketing responsibility for such landlords and ownership entities as Metropolitan Life Insurance Companies, Goldrich & Kest, Cadillac Fairview, Shapell Industries, WGH Properties and The KOLL Company.

He has developed, implemented and managed highly successful local, regional and national marketing programs for a wide variety of urban and suburban product types and is extremely familiar with all types of related documentation including Leases, Purchase & Sale Agreements, Letters of Intent, Tenant Improvement Agreements and Construction/Planning documents.

Mr. McCullough has also had the pleasure of exclusively representing many major corporations, companies and Fortune 500 firms in significant leasing, acquisition, disposition and valuation assignments. Included in this group are AT & T Global Real Estate, Levi Strauss & Co., KPMG Peat Marwick, City National Bank, U.S. Bank, LNR, Hewlett Packard (HP), Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank.

Recently, Mr. McCullough has been involved in over $50M of successfully negotiated lease agreements, investment sales/acquisitions and land dispositions including Red Rock Business Center, The Wells Fargo Bank anchored Class A Office Building at Rainbow Sunset Pavilion, Blue Diamond Marketplace, Commerce on The Green, and major land components within Boca Park and The District at Green Valley Ranch.

Mr. McCullough has a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University at Fullerton with emphasis in Management, served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Army in both the 6th and 8th U.S. Army Honor Guard Units (United States and Korea) and has been a Las Vegas resident, along with his wife Judy, for 19 years.

Mandatory 10-Digit Dialing Begins May 3rd

FOR ALL LOCAL CALLS

Beginning May 3, 2014, you must use the new dialing procedure for all local calls. If you do not use the new procedure, your call will not be completed, and a recording will instruct you to hang up and dial again. o complete local calls, the new dialing procedure requires callers to dial area code + telephone number. This means that all calls in the 702 area code that are currently dialed with seven digits will need to be dialed using area code + telephone number. This is known as the area code overlay.

The 702 area code generally covers all of Clark County and principally the greater Las Vegas area, serving communities such as:
  • Boulder City
  • Henderson
  • Las Vegas
  • Laughlin
  • Mesquite
  • Moapa Valley

And when Covey described the natural progression from an independent to an interdependent model, Gary realized there was a gap in the industry. No real estate company was truly built around an interdependent model. That was the logical destination for  everyone, yet no one was there. So he set out to create a company based on the third option. And much that we now identify as Keller Williams Realty was born.
